The Heikkilä Local History Museum’s interior exhibition in the main building presents us with typical living conditions in a Finnish well-to-do peasant home from the mid-19th century up to the 1930s.
The verdant museum garden is a strak contrast to the urban hustle and bustle of Kerava town centre and a reminder of the slow and self-sufficient lifestyle of the past centuries.
The Museum is open during the summer, but the museum gardens are open to self-led exploration throughout the year.
